Near North Tour
This tour isn't so much a tour, but rather a description of some of the dining and nightlife areas just north of the downtown Loop area. All are easily accessible by foot (particularly the River North area), the CTA or taxi cab. Chicago has become one of the premier dining destinations in the country, with numerous chefs and restaurants winning national recognition and awards. When in town, be sure to take advantage of the wide range of dining options at your disposal. As for nightlife, Chicago is truly a party town. You'll find everything from sports bars and shot-and-beer joints to high-tech dance clubs, live music venues and punk bars. Most bars have 2:00am licenses, with many staying open to 4:00am (5:00am on Friday and Saturday nights). This is a place where you can party the night away, so have some fun!
